Harper Ray Accessories Teams Up With The Detroit Pistons To Bring Fashion Center-Court

Detroit fashion jewelry brand, Harper Ray Accessories brings fashion to fandom with their new Detroit Pistons collection.


In Detroit, ornamentation and celebration are natural resources and when the opportunity for the two worlds to merge presents itself, the result is a win for the entire city. Harper Ray Accessories, a Black woman owned, and operated fashion jewelry brand founded by native Detroiter and Michigan State University graduate — Gillian Bradley, introduced their Detroit Pistons x Harper Ray collaboration, a unique collection of carefully curated pieces from Harper Ray, featuring the iconic Detroit Pistons branding. To celebrate the official launch, the Pistons and Harper Ray invited shoppers to the Pistons vs. Nets home game at Little Caesars Arena for free engraving with the purchase of a 313 Medallion from the Team Store.



Detroit is full of hometown heroes and Gillian is among one of the most beloved as founder of one of Detroit’s favorite affordable luxury accessory brands. Harper Ray jewelry quickly became a Detroit staple and exploded in popularity early on with its signature “$20 Tuesday” weekly promotion. With the goal to impact the jewelry industry by marketing to women for self-purchase, Harper Ray established a loyal customer base of fashionable, confident women.

The Pistons x Harper Ray collab gives the brand, whose consumer base is largely female, an opportunity to expand its inventory into a gender inclusive space bringing the worlds of sports and fashion together, while still celebrating the Detroit roots of each brand.

The collection features signature Harper Ray hardware each designed with an element of the Detroit Pistons branding, consisting of a unisex Detroit Pistons branded ring, necklace, bangle bracelet and an adjustable bracelet each available in gold or silver and various size options featuring the simplistic and glamourous Harper Ray look. The ring and bangle feature the “Detroit Pistons” debossed wordmark on the front and back with Harper Ray wordmark engraved inside. The necklace showcases the Detroit Pistons secondary ‘313’ logo on the front with ‘Harper Ray’ on the back, and the adjustable bracelets are available as a pair with red and blue stones representing the Pistons traditional colorway on silver or gold bracelets.



How does it feel to be collaborating with the home team?

It’s a dream come true. This is one of the things I wouldn’t have been able to imagine in my wildest dreams, especially starting [Harper Ray] from my high school bedroom, I definitely didn’t expect to get to Little Caesars Arena. It feels amazing and it’s great to be recognized by the Detroit Pistons.


What about this collaboration and its process makes you most proud of HR, your team, and yourself?

It was a long time coming so just staying focused and reaching the finish line. Being here today is like the period on everything. And we’re just getting started at the same time. So it just feels really good to see it all actually come to fruition.


Why is this collaboration necessary? For Harper Baes? For Pistons fans? For Detroiters?

We want to see every Detroiter shine so we are excited to get more people knowing [about] what Harper Ray is, what we’re all about, and what we stand for, and this, obviously, is a great platform to do so. We really appreciate the Pistons [for] giving us this opportunity and we’re super excited to be here!

What’s your favorite piece from the collection?


My favorite piece is the medallion. I’m really a necklace girl so the medallion is definitely my favorite piece, and I think it’ll be a top seller too!
