552 days is a very long time especially to be away from something you dearly love. For the most part, fans haven’t seen Kevin Durant suit up in an NBA jersey and play in every for a long time. During that time away from the NBA most speculated will this former league MVP return to his dominant ways on the basketball court or would he just be a shell of himself. Almost a year and a half since his Achilles injury, the wait for the 7-foot scoring assassin ended as he made his return back to the NBA with a new mindset and new team in the Brooklyn Nets. Out the gate, we saw Kevin Durant threw down a two-hand slam dunk to make a notice to fans and the NBA that he’s back. As the course of the game went along, Kevin started to find his groove shooting as we have been accustomed to seeing throughout the years during his playing career. Of course, the injury may have had its legering effects but it was a good feeling seeing Durant back on the floor once again. Two NBA finals championships, NBA MVP, multiple scoring championships it clear that Kevin Durant has more to give to the game of basketball and isn’t done despite the injury. With a newfound motivation to prove the haters wrong, Kevin Durant has his eyes set on having a major comeback this season
